The holiday season is here, and Retreat at Spring Park is thrilled to join Morguard’s North Pole Express, a special donation drive dedicated to supporting children in foster care. This season, let’s come together as a community to make a meaningful difference and bring smiles to children who need it most.
What Is the North Pole Express? 🎅
The North Pole Express is a heartfelt initiative where Morguard communities, including Retreat at Spring Park, collect essential items for foster children. Over the next four weeks, our lobby will transform into a festive drop-off location, where your donations will help fill comfort cases—backpacks filled with necessities and comforting items that bring joy to foster kids during the holidays.
Who Are We Helping? 💙
We’re proud to partner with Comfort Cases, a nonprofit organization that provides foster children with backpacks containing essentials like pajamas, books, blankets, and hygiene products. Many foster children carry their belongings in trash bags, but these comfort cases give them something so much more: a sense of dignity, hope, and love.
How You Can Help 🎁
From now through December 13th, you can drop off donations in the collection box located in our lobby. Here’s what we’re collecting:
- New pajamas (all sizes welcome)
- Diaper wipes (packs of 10–48)
- Children’s board books (to spark imagination)
- Small blankets and stuffed animals (for comfort and warmth)
- Baby washcloths (to help with daily care)
Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Please make sure all items are new and unused, and kindly avoid religious or holiday-themed items to keep the donations inclusive for all children.
